Wendy Johnson

is a dedicated advocate for children and families. A native of Miami, Florida she mentored children as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami. She served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Miami and upon moving to Denver in 2015 immediately became active fundraising for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. She served as auction chair for their annual gala. She also mentored her “little sister” for 4 years until her graduation from Englewood High School. In her professional career she worked in both pediatric healthcare and the hospitality industry. She was employed with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital focusing on community education outreach for over 14 years and currently works for Marriott International. Outside of her advocacy work Wendy enjoys playing golf, tennis and watching Florida Gator football.
