Maya Zelaya

is a dedicated member of the Denver community, born in Honduras, raised in New Jersey, and has made Colorado her home for over 20 years. She is passionate about education and founded a school program for refugee students, while also serving on the board of Wine and Dresses and actively participating in The Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation. As the reigning Ms. Cherry Creek, Maya proudly represents Cherry Creek throughout the state. Professionally, she is the Operations Manager for a construction management company and balances her career with being a proud mother to Ella (17) and Ethan (11). Maya is also a nationally recognized bodybuilder, earning numerous awards, and enjoys sharing her love of baking with her family.
